Prompts are working tools, not guaranteed outcomes.
Prompts Gallery is an English-language working library for product designers. It covers discovery, research, flows, interaction design, interface writing, accessibility, design systems, visual direction, portfolios, and design communication.
Every prompt is edited around a concrete design task, explicit inputs, evidence limits, a working method, and an output contract that can be reviewed. Prompts can improve structure and speed, but they cannot validate a decision, guarantee quality, or replace professional judgment.
Editorial principles
- Use supplied evidence before inference, and label assumptions.
- Do not invent research, metrics, quotes, policies, or product capabilities.
- Match the method and output to the actual design task.
- Treat generated output as a draft that requires professional review.
Privacy and external AI tools
Do not paste confidential company information, unreleased strategy, credentials, sensitive personal data, participant identities, or other personally identifiable information into an external AI tool. Redact and minimize source material before use, and follow the policies that apply to your organization and research participants.
What the status words mean
- Curated
- Selected because the task belongs in a product-design workflow.
- Reviewed
- Checked editorially for role, inputs, method, guardrails, and output structure.
- Evaluated
- Run with a documented fixture and manually scored against its rubric.
- Tested
- Verified through an explicitly described test; a static audit alone is not testing.
